Engineering guidelines & support

Our mission at Applied Systems, is to present our clients with the best available options to solve a specific HVAC issue.  Part of that solution involves knowledge,  experience and the technical impact of the equipment being applied. The core aspect of our mission, is to share our knowledge with you, such that you understand the equipment and the principles behind our application of that device.  In this forum, it's difficult to convey any meaningful "education", but we are actively compiling some helpful hints, tips and tricks to post here.  Below are some links to helpful sections, you may also contact ASO to discuss your specific issues by clicking here.

Fast Fact.   Portland's design humidity ratio is 83 grains, or a dewpoint of 62°F (ASHRAE 0.4%).  In July 2006.  The Pacific Northwest saw dewpoints rise upwards of 72°F, or 118 grains!!!  Who said there is no humidity in the Northwest? This was an eye opener, even for those whom monitor humidity closely.
